What is included

  • Tenant self-signup in the Renty app, with email and password or Google. The account links once by email to tenant records the landlord already holds. The landlord can also link a lease when the emails differ.
  • One portal across every landlord who has linked a lease.
  • Lease, documents, and applications: view. PDF and images can be previewed in the app. Documents are not downloaded from the portal.
  • Applications matched to the account email can be edited while pending. New applications are not started from the portal. A landlord or broker sends the apply link.
  • The maintenance list includes requests the landlord created on linked leases. After submit, the tenant cannot edit or cancel.
  • Profile and password. A person who is also a landlord switches role from the account menu. Login opens as landlord when that role exists.

What this role does not do

  • Cannot pay rent, mark a payment paid, or upload proof of payment.
  • Cannot upload or delete portfolio documents.
  • Cannot withdraw an application.
  • Cannot see other tenants, the landlord’s expenses, or broker tools.
